Our kids and teens are facing challenges unseen by previous generations. Many lack access to safe opportunities that foster a culture of acceptance and provide mentorship. They live in a world where social pressures are always on, calm and confidence are hard to access, and perseverance is a required superpower every day. Young people are growing up in new environments that are demanding more from them, and therefore more from us. As a youth development organization, using golf as our vehicle, we exist to enable kids, through a variety of opportunities, to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges.

• Financial Assistance supporting kids and families in economic need for practicing and playing golf.
• Access to the game and its inherent values from physical education classes to the golf course.
• A progressive curriculum that focuses on social and emotional learning objectives through activities that are developmentally appropriate, inclusive, diverse, and designed to meet kids where they are.
• Equipment that fits each child and modernizes their experience by creating responsible, inclusive, and active exploration with the game.
• Multi-level coach training programs that focus on research-proven methods of positive youth development, providing our coaches with tools to make kids feel safe, included and empowered.
• An annual slate of advanced local, regional, and national participant opportunities that facilitate growth and inspire personal transformation.
• A robust college scholarship program that provides tuition assistance, personal, and professional development, and mentorship for First Tee alumni.

Building Game Changers Fund Impact

• Champion Level ($20,000) - Supports one golf and life skills season for 100 local youth.
• Ace Level ($10,000) - Supports a year-round multi-level coach and mentor training program
• Eagle Level ($5,000) - Supports an elementary school and its physical education teacher year-round.
• Birdie Level ($2,500) - Supports 20 new local youth golfers in the summer putting league.
• Par Level ($1,000) - Supports year-round access to golf and life skills experience programs for one child.
• Caddie Level ($100) - Provides enrollment assistance for one child in a seasonal golf and life skills experience program.
